How to Use & Candle Care
- Remove the lid and place the candle upright on a stable, heat-resistant surface, clear of drafts and flammable items.
- Before every lighting, trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch (6 mm) and remove loose debris from the wax.
- On the first burn, allow the wax to melt toward the edges of the vessel to encourage an even melt pool, without exceeding four hours.
- Burn for no longer than four hours at a time. Extinguish carefully and let the wax cool and solidify before relighting, handling, or replacing the lid.
- Discontinue use when approximately 1/2 inch (13 mm) of wax remains at the bottom.
Good to Remember
Small-batch pouring may produce subtle variations in wax appearance. Soy wax may naturally develop frosting or slight changes in surface texture, which do not make a candle defective.
